The company, according to its articles of association, is managed and represented by the Administrator and Legal Representative of  Xenophon Stavropoulos, Dr. Hydrogeologist - Researcher with over 35 years of scientific and professional experience.

Research Team

The permanent staffing of the company with scientific personnel consists of:

Xenophon Stavropoulos, Dr. Hydrogeologist - researcher is a distinguished Hydrogeologist and researcher. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Palermo in 1982, followed by a PhD in Hydrogeology from the Department of Geological Sciences at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 1992. His extensive research and scientific contributions have been focused on the realms of applied geology and hydrogeology. Dr. Stavropoulos currently holds the positions of Administrator and Legal Representative at GEOENVIRO and possesses esteemed academic credentials, including third-class study degrees in Category 20 (Geological studies), second-class in Category 27 (Environmental studies), and first-class in Category 21 (Geotechnical studies), all of which are included in the company's workforce. With over 35 years of professional experience as a contractor, coordinator, and head of study groups in the provision of technical consultancy services and the preparation of geological - hydrogeological studies. Also, his expertise extends to the management and protection of water resources, development of underground aquifers, geological suitability for urban planning and residential development, geotechnical, soil, environmental impacts and management natural environment.

Konstantinos Katsaounis, MSc. Geologist has graduated from the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and he holds a master's degree D.E.A. (Diplome d' Etudes Approfondies - 1989) from the University of Claude Bernard, Lyon I, France. He is a respected member and executive staff of GEOENVIRO. His academic qualifications include second-class study degrees in Category 20 (Geological studies) and Category 27 (Environmental studies), which are all included in the company’s workforce. With 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Katsaounis has excelled in various aspects of geological and hydrogeological studies, the management and protection of underground water resources, the development of underground aquifers, the formulation of water balances, and geological and hydrogeological mapping. Additionally, he is adept at guiding and conducting field research works involving quantitative and qualitative measurements of underground aquifer systems.

Vasilios Tsonis, MSc. Geologist is holding a Bachelor degree from the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, complemented by a master's degree in "Engineering Geology" from Durham University, U.K. (1999). As a distinguished member and executive staff of GEOENVIRO, Dr. Tsonis contributes significantly to the company's endeavors. He holds third-class study degrees in Category 20 (Geological studies) and second-class in Category 21 (Geotechnical studies), included in the company’s workforce. With 25 years of experience, Vasilios Tsonis specializes in various aspects of geological and hydrogeological studies. His professional competencies extend to technical geology of infrastructure projects, geotechnical and foundations of technical projects, and specialized technical geological mapping of areas prone to geological risks.

Vasilios Georgakopoulos, Βsc Geologist owns a Bachelor's degree from the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2023). Collaborator at the company GEOENVIRO with scientific and professional experience in geological-hydrogeological studies, water resource management and protection, environmental impacts and natural environment management. Vasilis holds a certification for Autocad software and during his collaboration with our company, he obtained practical experience.

Athina Makri Zafeiriou, Bsc Geologist: Bachelor's degree from the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2023). Associate at the company GEOENVIRO with specialization in Geographic Information Systems as well as scientific and professional experience  in geological-hydrogeological studies and geological suitability for urban and residential development.

Orestis Stavropoulos, BSc. Geographer: Bachelor of Geography from the Department of Geography at the University of the Aegean (2017). Associate at the company GEOENVIRO with 5 years of scientific and professional experience in the management and protection of natural and anthropogenic environments.

Dimitrios Stavropoulos, BSc. in Business Administration:  Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Aegean (2021). Associate at the company GEOENVIRO with scientific and professional experience in database management, project quality systems, and administrative and organizational support.

Specialized Associates: The company has a team of specialized external associates with long-term collaboration, including specialties such as geotechnical engineer, agronomist, forester, GIS specialist, chemist, and environmental engineer. They undertake the development of specialized subjects according to the study or consulting project they are involved in.

Presentation of time series base (Detailed timeseries output), graphs (dfs0 files) spatial distribution of parameters per time point (dfs2) and sequence with specific time step (dfs3).
